Erica Liepelt (Star Gazer) has been kind enough to share some details of the Head Sail installation on the Star Gazer.

Below are the deck fitting and traveler on the cabin top for self tacking staysail rig.

I need to grab photos, stargazer also has twin cars either side of the cabin top, I’m assuming for the staysail as there are also deck mounted cars for the headsail.

Lastly, the last owner added running backs, mounted on mast at height of the staysail halyard, and Mike told me to attach them as far aft as I could in a blow. I’ll grab a photo of the halyard height as well – it is in mast.
